How the ranking works

Twenty-one NSFW AI image and video generators, ranked by what their own pages say about real people, minors, uploads and price. There are no scores: the order comes from seven yes/no checks, listed below. Adults only.

No scores, no stars. Each generator is measured against seven yes/no checks, each a fact printed on the tool's own site:

  • A real-person ban is stated — the official pages forbid generating identifiable real people.
  • A minors ban is stated — the official pages forbid content depicting minors, fictional or AI-generated.
  • No reference-photo upload — no way to feed a photograph into the generator.
  • Public prices — a public page shows the plans and their prices.
  • Video output — the tool makes video, not only stills.
  • A free tier is stated — something can be tried without paying.
  • No vendor-run likeness program — the operator does not run a licensed program cloning real people.

Partner tools are grouped first, as the note above the ranking says; inside each group, more boxes ticked ranks higher, with ties broken on the lower entry price, then the name. Four generators tick all seven: Secrets AI, Promptchan AI, Yume AI and EroPlay. The comparison matrix puts all twenty-one in one table, box by box, in the same order.

What we leave out

Three kinds of product never enter this ranking, however popular:

  • Undress and nudify apps — anything whose selling point is removing clothes from a photograph you supply.
  • Face-swap tools built for real people's photos — putting a real face into a scene, or training a reusable face model from someone's pictures.
  • Tools whose own terms forbid adult output — the marketing sells an uncensored generator while the terms prohibit pornographic content, and it is your account they close.

Twenty-two such products sit on the not-listed page, each with the sentence from its own site that put it there — most for one of those three reasons, plus one offering AI avatars of public personalities and one whose terms admit 13-year-olds while calling pornographic content objectionable. We do not explain how they work or link to them.

A ranked tool with a hole in its policies stays in the ranking, with the gap in its checklist. Kupid AI, HeraHaven and NovelAI state nothing about real people or minors; PixAI states nothing about real people; GirlfriendGPT, PixAI, NovelAI, Unstability.ai, Lovescape and OurDream take an uploaded image somewhere in the product; Candy AI, Swipey AI, Fantasy.ai and Infatuated run licensed likeness programs built on consenting adult creators. Each of those costs a box. An empty box means the tool's pages contain no such statement — not that the tool permits the thing.

How is this ranking ordered?

By seven checkable facts: a stated real-person ban, a stated minors ban, no reference-photo upload, public prices, video output, a stated free tier, and no vendor-run program licensing real people's likenesses. Partner tools are grouped first; inside each group, more boxes ticked ranks higher, and ties break on the lower entry price, then alphabetically.

Which NSFW AI generators are free?

Twenty of the twenty-one state a free tier of some kind, and they differ enormously. Promptchan prints a $0 plan with a daily gem allowance; PixAI gives 10,000 free credits a day but excludes video; OurDream starts new accounts with 55 dreamcoins, at 5 for a character and 1 for a message; Candy AI allows five messages, one character and one image; Secrets AI gives 20 messages a day and no generation at all. PornPen is the exception with no free tier, offering a $2 one-day trial. The free-tier list goes through what each one actually unlocks.

Which ones generate video?

Eighteen of the twenty-one; DreamGF, Unstability.ai and NovelAI make no video. Where a maximum length is stated, Swipey AI and OurDream reach 60 seconds, Lovescape 30, Secrets AI 15, Kupid AI 12, and GirlfriendGPT, PixAI and Infatuated 10. Where a plan meters output, video is the scarcer allowance — Kupid AI's Pro week covers 25 photos but 8 videos; the video list has the details.

Can I use a photo of a real person?

No, and the products built for that are not in this ranking. Thirteen of the twenty-one have no reference-photo upload at all. The six that take an image describe it as image-to-image work, a profile avatar, or a character you already generated — except OurDream, whose marketing offers a reference photo for a consistent face while its help center says photo uploads are not allowed. Infatuated's pages contradict each other on uploads, and Sexy AI keeps its upload tools behind a login. Every generator here that states a real-person rule restricts depicting real people, though the wording varies — some ban it outright, others only impersonation that is “deceptive or harmful”, or only depictions made without consent; each review gives the exact wording. What does an empty box in the checklist mean?

That the tool's own pages contain no such statement — not that the tool allows the thing. Kupid AI and HeraHaven, for instance, publish no rule about real people or minors, which is worth knowing before you pay, but it says nothing about what happens in the product. Where a statement exists, each review gives the exact wording.

Is AI-generated porn legal where I live?

It depends on where you are and, above all, on whether real people are involved — fictional adult characters and identifiable real people are treated very differently in law. Age-verification duties are spreading too: Lovescape's blog says UK users now face an age check before NSFW features, and Swipey AI's terms say self-declaration alone is not relied on where the law requires more — but most of the sites here still stop at a click-through 18+ box, and a few show no gate at all.
